I've been playing guitar for a vey long time, not classically trained, mostly by intuition and ear, but feel I have gained enough experience playing in a variety of bands and having done many solo gigs too, I can pass on some of the tricks of the trade and the shortcuts to achieving what initially seems to be impossible.

I have in the past taught  guitar (amongst other subjects) at my local college since 1998 and have a Teaching Cert and full CRB check, plus I have a Youth Leader Certificate too.

Playing guitar at first glance looks easier especially when someone else is doing it, but when you have a go yourself you being to realise it's not as easy as it looks. Like anything, it all depends on how keen you are and how much time you are willing to spend practising. Once you are hooked though, you will pretty much always want to carry on developing your style and techniques.
